No matter where you are on life’s journey, we welcome you to join us for worship, to celebrate the strength of our faith community and to try to make a difference in the world.
Creative Worship is at the heart of what we do at Mountain Rise. It is not only a source of spiritual revitalization, but it also prepares the congregation to take the message of love and inclusiveness into the community at large. A phrase printed in our bulletin every week captures this philosophy: “As worship ends, let our service begin.”
Music Worship in song with our 30-voice choir each week, and sing accompanied by piano, guitar, and other instruments. Second Sundays each month the music is jazz-flavored with the House Band. A “Mighty Wind” ensemble plays on occasion too! Classical to Contemporary finds a home here.
A weekly message from our senior minister, Greg Osterberg, is both inspiring and timely. Greg’s interpretation of scripture challenges people to make faith a living part of their lives. A special message for children happens just before they leave for the “Komma Kids” program. Children are also welcome to stay in worship with their family.
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to the table. Prayers for the world and ourselves are an important part of every Mountain Rise worship.
